A graduate of Spring Arbor University, Alaina received her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, after completing Eastern Michigan University's Psychology program. Before becoming a therapist, she gained experience working in health education, behavioral education for impoverished families, and pharmacology.
Alaina takes an eclectic, person-centered approach to therapy and utilizes mindfulness based approaches such as Internal Family Systems, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Alaina's approach is trauma-informed, specializing in eating disorders, self-confidence development, postpartum anxiety and depression, and birth trauma.
Mother of one rambunctious son, married to her husband of 9 years, a content creator, author, singer-songwriter, and competitive board-game player, Alaina is committed to ushering her clients process of healing, internal growth, and self-discovery.
