Taylor Lane, MSN

PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER INTERN

(she/her/honey)

dog mom, football fan, former Chicagoland resident

While working as an ER Nurse in the Metro Detroit area for 4 years, Taylor encountered cases where she saw firsthand the struggles that mothers face such as postpartum depression, anxiety, pregnancy loss, sleep deprivation, breastfeeding complications, and physical recovery. Witnessing these challenges sparked her desire to dive deeper into understanding and addressing maternal mental health.

Now a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in Perinatal Mental Health completing her Certification through Postpartum Support International, and a mom herself, Taylor can empathize and relate to the life changes that surround becoming a mother and juggling the new normal. Your experience with the rollercoaster of emotions, the physical and emotional demands of motherhood, and the societal pressures that come with it are valid and Taylor is here to support you every step of the way.

After hours, Taylor can be found at orange theory, weightlifting, spending time with her family or at the dog park, listening to podcasts, and cheering on the Lions with her fiance and her sweet little boy.

Taylor is working under the preceptorship of Dr. Umeika Stevens
