single mom of a teen girl, neuro-spicy, astrology nerd

A graduate of The University of Michigan psychology program and recipient of a Masters in Counseling from Walden University, Lisa holds a certificate in gender studies, is a single mom to a teenager, moved through postpartum depression as a military wife, and became a trauma informed therapist to support those suffering in silence.

Lisa has extensive training experience working with trauma and works to support her clients in their path to integrate the scientific and the spiritual - the thoughts and the feelings. She has training in Brainspotting, an evidence based technique utilized to reduce the symptoms of anxiety, depression, generational trauma, and emotional pain. She has a deep passion for working with mothers who struggle with feeling “attached” to their babies to discover what is blocking this connection, and how to shift it.
