After surviving two brain surgeries, a house fire in her childhood home, conquering disordered eating and years of depression and anxiety....it was motherhood that truly brought Brooke to her knees, cracked her open, and changed her perspective. Mother of two daughters ages 9 and 12, Brooke is a licensed psychotherapist, a"trailblazer" according to San Francisco's 411 Magazine, and the founder of Honey. for Moms--a mental health clubhouse for modern moms and dads located in Ferndale, Michigan. 

A graduate of The University of Southern California and a Goldman Sachs 10,000 business scholar, Brooke holds a certificate in applied mythology from Pacifica Graduate Institute where she also earned a Master’s in Counseling Psychology. She is a community organizer, educator, entrepreneur, and leader in the field of parental mental health. Known by her peers to always blend business with heart, Brooke’s voice has been featured nationally as a contributor to The Ricki Lake Show and in The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, Crain’s Detroit, and Postpartum Support International. 

The granddaughter of a Holocaust Survivor and Nazi Resistance fighter in the underground resistance in Paris, Brooke’s orientation towards her work as a psychotherapist and entrepreneur are rooted in the strength of storytelling, resilience, and the power of the inner feminine. A speaker, writer, and advocate for all who identify as mothers, Brooke continuously drives the mission of Honey forward, creating opportunities to amplify the maternal instinct within each mothering body who crosses her path.

Brooke was born in Detroit, raised in Chicago, educated in California, and now lives in Metro Detroit with her husband of 18 years, Jason where they drink matcha everyday, homeschool their daughters, and love on their giant pup, Louie.
