Dana Grossmann, PMHNP-BC
PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER
(she/her/honey)
oil painter, frequently moonstruck, loves to beach
As a labor and delivery nurse for nearly six years, Dana has journeyed alongside women through their most transformative and difficult moments of motherhood. She also worked in community mental health serving vulnerable populations. Through these experiences and her own trials, Dana has committed herself to bridging the gap between women’s health and mental health, providing support through all aspects of the parental journey, such as infertility and IVF, pregnancy loss, perinatal complications, postpartum depression, anxiety, psychosis, PTSD, and the general stress that accompanies major changes.
In her PMHNP role, Dana incorporates a holistic approach to mental well-being, emphasizing the mind-body connection. Dana completed her Master’s at Wayne State, and she holds a BSN and a BFA from Michigan State, as well as a yoga teaching certification. She’s lived in Chicago, Paris, and Michigan, and on her days off she can be found in nature, sleeping, doing yoga, compulsively gardening, making art, or taking a sauna.
