Helena Reece, MA, LPC
CLINICAL THERAPIST
(she/her/honey)
powerlifter, coffee lover, military spouse
Helena earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), including both basic and advanced protocols, and is currently completing the University of Michigan's Sex Therapy & Sexuality Education Program. Additionally, she holds specialized training in Adlerian Play Therapy and family play therapy and has attended multiple trainings to support military personnel and their families.
Helena’s journey into mental health was deeply influenced by her personal experience of becoming a mother at 16, which gave her a unique perspective on the challenges and joys of parenting. After beginning her career working with children and families, Helena discovered that much of the healing process stems from supporting parents. She understands deeply that parenting is messy, complex, and unpredictable, and she is passionate about normalizing these experiences for moms while equipping them with tools for healing and growth.
A mom of two, and fur mom to two dogs and a cat, Helena enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her kiddos, caring for her pets, and finding moments of joy in the unpredictable journey of parenting.
