Single mama of two young adult daughters and a rescue dog Lolly, Kathleen’s deep passion for maternal mental health parallels her extensive training and experience. After graduating George Mason University with her BA in Psychology, she obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University and became a school social worker, focusing on children aged 0-5.

Her work with children and parents, combined with her personal inspiration led her to elevate her training in identifying and treating survivors of sexual abuse, with additional training through Resilient Birth to specialize in supporting treating survivors or sexual abuse in pregnancy, birth and parenthood along with their partners. Kathleen also has personal experience and clinical training in working with bedrest moms and partners, NICU moms and partners, and traumatic birth.

Originally from Chicago, Kathleen is a “huge” Chicago Cubs fan, a book worm, and loves to sing in choral groups.
