Born and raised in Metro-Detroit, and a proud Social Work graduate from Oakland University and Michigan State University, Libby is a licensed master’s level social worker and Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) with a background in community mental health and hospital-based family support, particularly for children with disabilities and those requiring NICU care. She has extensive experience supporting (and learning from!) neurodivergent individuals, people with physical disabilities, and those navigating depression, anxiety, and grief.

A passionate and knowledgeable advocate for both children and adults with disabilities—and those who care for them—Libby’s approach to her work and her life emphasizes the importance of mindfulness, humor, individuality, acceptance and self-confidence.

Outside of Honey, Libby is a trusted daughter, friend and sister.  Libby is an avid reader of all kinds (books and tarot) and is easily fascinated by true crime podcasts and documentaries. Libby emphasizes her joy for movement by teaching Pure Barre or taking a cycling class.
