CLINICAL THERAPIST

(she/her/honey)

total introvert, lover of taco bell, 90s rap music enthusiast

With both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work from Michigan State University with specializations in substance abuse and health promotion, Nichole has a passion for combining mental health and physical health, and has experience in the substance abuse field, health & wellness, as well as extensive time working in palliative and hospice care.

A mother of two, Nichole has firsthand experience moving through fertility struggles, birth trauma and postpartum depression, as well as issues of the ‘sandwich generation’ including caring for her mother through the dying process. She also is a recovering-perfectionist.

Nichole is dedicated to a holistic approach to life with a focus on the Mind Body connection and energetically believes in our body’s ability to heal from chronic pain/symptoms, anxiety and depression. She enjoys using Internal Family Systems (IFS) strategies, as well as a variety of solution-oriented tools to help clients learn to cultivate compassion, courage and curiosity for themselves.

In her free time you can find Nichole swimming laps at the pool a few mornings per week, or on the field with her soccer-obsessed kiddos. Nichole is a ‘foodie’ and loves to cook & bake for her family and friends. She is committed to a daily breathwork and vagus nerve toning practice, and has a goal of receiving Reiki training this fall.
