Native Michigander and proud mama of three, Sarah brings with her a compassionate heart and a deep trust that every human possesses an innate knowledge on how to heal and thrive. A graduate of Pacifica Graduate Institute & Saybrook University, and a current Doctoral student, Sarah believes the work of therapist & client is to co-create a safe and authentic space together to explore inner wisdom and agency. She believes in the healing power of connection, community, expressive art, and movement & grounding in the body.
Sarah has trained in schema therapy, IFS, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Active Imagination, and a number of body-based therapeutic techniques. She has experience in existential therapy, griefwork, feminine empowerment, intimate partner violence and sexual trauma counseling, and supporting the healing of depression, anxiety, interpersonal & developmental trauma as well as post-traumatic stress disorder.
When not seeing clients, Sarah is loving up her people, snuggling her two pups, sculpting, swimming in Lake Michigan, gardening, dancing, sitting by a fire, hosting dinner parties, and exploring the world in all its wildness- especially natural hot springs.
